DID YOU KNOW that the Department of Defense (DoD) is implementing new rules for accessing its Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)?
These rules are designed to enhance the security of JPAS, the DoD’s personnel security migration system. Starting on January 21, 2012, the DoD has announced you will no longer be able to access JPAS by simply providing your username and password. If your company, or your suppliers, use JPAS, the time to take action is NOW.
By purchasing from Exostar, you will also be able to use this credential to access Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Exostar, HII/NNS, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and Rolls-Royce applications.
This means that in addition to your username and password, you’ll need a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credential – either a medium token or a medium hardware assurance certificate – to gain entry to JPAS. Exostar is a DoD-approved provider of these PKI credentials, and individuals are successfully using Exostar-issued certificates to access JPAS today. If you already have an Exostar Medium Hardware Digital Certificate, you can access JPAS today with your existing credential.
